How can we make Plickers better?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  2. Allow me to delete or archive multiple questions at a time.

    It would save a bunch of time if I could delete or archive batches of questions

    Have custom Card numbers. Where teachers can input their number they need then just print them.

  4. Randomize the order of the answers

    I'd like to be able to make the answers appear in random order. That way, if you re-use questions (like I do a lot), students can't just pick the letter they remember was the right answer the last time.

  5. You should be able to resize images in questions so the class can see them!

    When I post images (especially when there is information of text on them) they are too small on the smart board for students to see. You should be able to resize the images just like you can do with the font.

  6. ATTENDANCE I would like to record my class attendance.

    Plickers would be excellent to use at the start of class to record attendance. It would save time and ideally would print out a summary report at the end of the semester.

    Hi everyone,
    Today we released a big update to our reporting features that now gives you visibility into how your students did across multiple questions and date ranges. While each report is specific to your class, we also have the the ability to export your class results to a spreadsheet making it easy to combine your results in a spreadsheet.   8. How about an option to make the cards personal to the student.

    If I could include their name on the card, I wouldn't spend time remembering who is which number. Also, if I allowed them to keep cards with them, it would be easier when other teachers find the cards left in their room or hallway.

  9. LMS intgration - Canvas, Moodle, Blackboard

    Very simply allow us to associate a particular card with a particular student in our LMS. Also allow for the answering of questions that are already in our LMS via the cards rather than on computers. Those students that miss class or for some reason can't participate in class using the cards (they forgot them) can answer the questions before, during or after class on their own devices.

    The instructor wouldn't need to figure out which student is associated with which card and questions could be formulated prior to class and reused.

  12. Create an app for the iPad!

  15. Duplicate/export/add a category

    Fantastic application. My pupils love working with Plickers. It would be even greater if one could :
    1. be able to duplicate (copy/paste) forms (question+answers)
    2. be able to export forms, to share them with other teachers
    3. add a category to forms to obtain a scoresheet associated with this category (mathematics, grammar...)

  17. Mini cards! 6 per page...

    I teach PE and would love to have smaller cards since I need to use so many cards. A mini set of cards would allow me to use them all on a smaller space (instead of kids holding them up!)

  19. Edit/Modify Plickers Results from Your Reports

    Currently the only way to go back and change your Plickers results is by re-scanning your cards one by one. With the new Scoresheet reports, more teachers will be using Plickers for grading and will need to go back and change grades when students are absent, cards were missed, etc. It would be great if there was a way you could just edit the results directly from your Reports.

  20. Create an app for Microsoft Surface

    It would be great if you would create an app for the Microsoft Surface. I have a Surface 2, not the pro and it would be great to be able to use this program.
