How can we make Plickers better?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.

  1. I would like to be able to drag and drop questions in my Que to change the sequence.

    Right now it's not very user friendly to be able to move only one question one space at a time.

  2. Print out of the students who share that same number.

    I teach 17 different classes in my subject, so I have 17 people who share the same number. Is there a way to get a print out of all the students who are using the #3 card. I teach elementary students and my students forget all the time and use the wrong card. This would make plickers more user friendly.

  3. Is there a known incompatibility with the Plickers app and Samsung Galaxy S6 phones? Whenever I launch the camera to scan student answers th

    Every time I turn on the camera part of the app to scans students' answers the app crashers. I know someone else who has the same phone and the same thing happens to them whenever they try to use the camera inside the Plickers app.

    How about different colors for different answers? I would like to check for comprehension of concepts I've presented. I'm giving four options A) I don't get it. B) I get it, but I can't do it. C) I can do it D) I can teach it!

    If there were different colors assigned to each answer, it could go from red to yellow to green, to maybe blue to reflect whether or not the kid needs help. This, by the way, is an amazing app!

  5. Addition to "Allow webcam scanning": let Plickers pick up responses not just from one webcam but from multiple webcams on the same pc.

    I use more than one webcam on a single pc via the Manycams program. Instead of pausing the class to walk around the room with my phone, I would like to point two webcams at two halves of the room and automate the response-collection completely. Thank you for your time again.

  7. Plickers in pe

    My co-workers and I thought of an idea for Plickers in PE.

    When running the mile it can be difficult to keep track of 50 or 90 students. While a teacher is trying to mark down a large group of students coming around the track, other students can be missed or may try cutting the lap when the teacher is not looking.

    Our idea is to utilize the plickers system to mark down laps and running time. The program would need a stopwatch and a # of laps setting(we have a 2 lap mile and a 4 lap mile at…

    Hi everyone,
    Today we released a big update to our reporting features that now gives you visibility into how your students did across multiple questions and date ranges. While each report is specific to your class, we also have the the ability to export your class results to a spreadsheet making it easy to combine your results in a spreadsheet.     Schoology is a Learning Management System (similar to Edmodo). It would be great if the student responses synced with Schoology.

    Why not to creat a plickers.exe programe so that we get over the problem of the unstable internet connection in some countries and the connection between the app and the computer might be a blutooth connection

  14. We would like to generate large numbers of cards with a name on it for our faculty attending PD sessions in large auditoriums.

    Easy way to take attendance? We could avoid long lines signing in and prevent signing in friends who aren't there. We have a badge scanning system, but there could still be lines waiting to scan. And we have multiple sessions and classes. I'm not sure we have that many mobile scanners.

  16. Instead of a minimum for 40 cards, make the minimum 10 cards per set

    When I saw the number of minimum set of cards it was 40 for the standard pack. Can you decrease your number to 10? If you have 7 students in your class, would you waste paper and take 40 different Plickers cards? Please make a new pack of cards which consists of 10 different cards.

  18. Generic question 'front ends'

    Provide, for all your clients a range of 'question beginnings' to get get someone new going but that all teachers can take and duplicate into their own bank multiple times and onto which they can add their own detailed endings - to more quickly generate many variations on a question theme.

    For example which is the biggest/smallest, or best estimate, or Is this true (sometimes, always, never), which is the odd one out and so on... I'm sure there are many more; and different subjects may favour different beginnings.

    I have already done this for myself (just the question beginnings)…
