How can we make Plickers better?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  1. limited number of answers

    Add the possibility to limit the number of answers per pupil. For example: one answer per question, so once scanned, you can't change later.

  2. I'd like to be able to match the standards to each question. This would make it easier to collect data on students who are meeting standard

    Have a spot on the side of each question where we can copy and paste our state standard that goes with the question. Then enable us to print a spreadsheet by standards or even a list of questions with the standards to see which students meet the requirements.

  3. Plickers could allow students to archive Visual Artwork with a self evaluation attached.

    For visual arts, it is difficult to develop a portfolio and assess that portfolio quickly. With a slight modification to the app, students would be able to take single shots of their work and their plicker. The plicker would help archive their artwork by identifying who's work it is along with a self evaluation based on a set rubric.

  4. Be able to create student accounts, so students can make questions

    I would love to be able to make sub accounts so students could make questions for review activities and then I could import them to a class "review" folder and use.
    They would benefit from making the questions and it they would make questions geared to what they are struggling with.

  5. create folders in the Reports section to help organize data

    Being able to create folders in the "Reports" section in order to organize your data. Not necessarily using the same folders that you created in the "Library".

  6. I would like to be able to add tables in a question.

    Be able to insert a table so that data can be arrange or more easily ask math questions involving data.

  9. I would like to have the ability to insert images into the plicker program for different questions.

    It would be nice to be able to insert images into your questions. Especially for lower elementary students. However, this tool would be very useful across grade level.

  10. Display all card answers in Live View without need to scroll window down

    The window that houses the answers for all the cards should increase in size as the font of the question decreases OR as the size of the display allows. Currently, all 63 cards cannot be simultaneously displayed in "Student" tab of [Live View] without scrolling the window down, but my display has plenty of white border to accommodate the few missing answers.

  13. Is there a way to have choices of 1,2, 3, 4 as well as A, B, C, D in the questions?

    When I am doing a question for letter/sound, my answer shows up as
    A. c
    B. l
    C. d
    D. r
    This is confusing to our kindergarten kids

  14. Label/Group Questions per CCLS

    It would be nice to label/group questions per a Common Core Learning Standard. That way, we can see how they are progressing along a standard over a series of questions (especially once data can be exported to spreadsheets)

    In many subject areas, graphs, charts, tables, maps, are used. It would be nice to be able to include these items when needed.

  16. I wish there was a way to view the live view tab in a smartnotebook lesson

    I was wanting to make a smartnotebook lesson with multiple choice answers and let them see when I received their answers so they know when to put their card down. If I could insert a window into the smartnotebook lesson that would show the "panel" while still on the slide that would be AWESOME!!!

  17. I would like to see the percentage correct when hovering over the reports while in the library.

    I would like to see the percentage correct when hovering over the reports while in the library. It already pops up with the name of the class, if it could also show the most recent percent correct, it would help me know if I should re-add it to the queue.

  19. Attach Standards and/or Bloom's levels to the questions.

    Because there is so much reporting by standard anymore, to have this option available when I create a question would be incredibly useful and prevent me from having to do this completely by hand. I have to keep a list of the questions separately and tie the standard and Bloom's level to every question for my goals reporting 4 times a year. This would make the software much more valuable to me and to my students.

  20. There needs to be a way to export student results so we can quickly see how many they got right/wrong. Also a way to show answer from app.
