How can we make Plickers better?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  1. Add a card display option

    Add a card display option to the Plicker app so that students can use their mobile device as their Plicker card.
    It would allow students to select their card number and would NOT change the image (keep the screen locked) when the mobile device is rotated.
    If possible, it would increase the device brightness to its maximum value.

  2. Polling results to be in Excel.

  6. I would like to see the percentage correct when hovering over the reports while in the library.

    I would like to see the percentage correct when hovering over the reports while in the library. It already pops up with the name of the class, if it could also show the most recent percent correct, it would help me know if I should re-add it to the queue.

  7. Graphs, Tables, Charts

    In many subject areas, graphs, charts, tables, maps, are used. It would be nice to be able to include these items when needed.

  8. Label/Group Questions per CCLS

    It would be nice to label/group questions per a Common Core Learning Standard. That way, we can see how they are progressing along a standard over a series of questions (especially once data can be exported to spreadsheets)

  9. display question and answer choices from the plickers website onto interactive board

    I have an interactive board that projects what is on my computer onto the board. Is there a way to show the question and answer directly from the website queue so I do not have to manually write the answer choices on another board?

  10. Display all card answers in Live View without need to scroll window down

    The window that houses the answers for all the cards should increase in size as the font of the question decreases OR as the size of the display allows. Currently, all 63 cards cannot be simultaneously displayed in "Student" tab of [Live View] without scrolling the window down, but my display has plenty of white border to accommodate the few missing answers.

  11. I would like to have the ability to insert images into the plicker program for different questions.

    It would be nice to be able to insert images into your questions. Especially for lower elementary students. However, this tool would be very useful across grade level.

  12. Utilização de Plickers para fazer chamada de classe automática

    Prezados da Plickers, boa noite!

    Conheci a solução da Plickers a pouco tempo e estou fazendo os primeiros testes para a utilização definitiva. Além de todas as funcionalidades existentes, venho sugerir adaptar o Plickers para fazer a "chamada de classe", de tal modo que automaticamente os alunos presentes sejam registrados.

    Pelos testes, esta abordagem já dá certo, no entanto seria ainda melhor inda se durante o processo também fosse possível tirar fotografias automaticamente. Desta forma, teríamos registros com fotografias.

    Ficam minhas recomendações, e parabéns pela ótima solução!

  13. I would like to be able to use graphics directly from Google images rather than loading the graphic from a computer hard drive.

    I have found that when I create a question that includes a graphic on my home computer. The graphic will not display when I launch the question on my classroom desktop. If graphics were loaded from the internet rather than a physical drive this would be more efficient.

  14. Can you enable Plickers to print a spreadsheet that displays the student name and the number of correct answers (ie. Casey Jones 8/10)

    It would be super helpful if there was an option to automatically translate a question or set of questions into Spanish, or any other language for that matter. Something like a quick button to translate either the individual card or a whole set of them would be amazing and save me so much time.

  18. Being able to edit question structures

    I'd like to be able to edit things like the question labels, i.e. 'A, B, C, D' and change these to '1, 2, 3, 4' or add to them. It would also be good to be able to change 'True/False' to 'Yes/No' also - especially when using Plickers for evaluation purposes

  19. How does plickers handle asking the same class the same question twice? With discussion in between.

    How does plickers handle asking the same class the same question twice? I want to use it for peer instruction - ask a question, look at results, get students to discuss, clear responses and re vote. Will I see both responses in score sheet?
