How can we make Plickers better?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

    In order to do more difficult proofs... the app could penalize the questions answer incorrectly, so you can make your students think about the answer.

  2. Automatically assign card numbers based on first name instead of last name

    I keep my roster and gradebook in alphabetical order by first name instead of last name. However, when I copy and paste the roster into Plickers, the students are assigned numbers based on their last names. I would like them to be assigned student numbers automatically based on the order that I pasted the roster.

    Example:
    I paste a roster. The student whose FIRST name begins with A gets card 1, and the student whose FIRST name begins with Z gets card 26 (or however many students are in the class).

    I am an elementary physical eduction teacher in NJ. Right now students are completely dependent on me to scan the plickers. I have created "plicker necklaces" for my students and would like for them to be completely independent during a lesson and scan/answer a question whenever they have completed a task. If I was able to use a forward facing camera on an iPad (or similar device) or set up a laptop as a station, this would allow me to continue instruction uninterrupted as well as tailor my lesson for the students that seem to be struggling cognitively.   18. Larger response panel

    I’m wondering if there is a way to change how large the student response panel is. My students like to see the checkmark appear by their name when I’ve received their response. However, since I have a large class, not all can see their name unless I go to the computer and scroll down.

    Since last you wrote, we’ve updated the Live View with a larger panel and also moved the students’ card numbers inside the square checkmark box to save space and enable more student names to be displayed. Has this been helpful for you?

    - Have the total score per user sorted => Gaming motivation
    - During scanning, be able to switch upper part of the screen as in the result screen, to be able to re-read the question during scanning (utilisation with mobile only no projector).
