Graduated point system for different answers?
IS there a way I can give different point values for each answer within a question? (i.e. A is 4 points, B student gets 3 points, C student receives 2 points, etc.?)

Assessing with Plickers, problems and thoughts.
Today I'm giving a quiz using the plickers. When I had a student come in half way through the test I realized that there was no way to go back since the questions disappear out of the queue. It also made me realize that giving a makeup quiz for my absentees will also be a problem. During this lovely flu and cold season I will need to reload the quiz into the queue every time I have a student make up the quiz. Being able to print out a paper version of a set of questions or the option export…

Import 3rd party materials.
Is there an easier way to import test questions from self or 3rd party material(beside copy and past)?

Bilingual option
Hi I teach a class bilingually (Welsh and English side by side). It would be great if the question window could be split into two columns so that the same question could be put up on screen in both languages simultaneously.

When you export a report to print, it would be nice if it looked like the original report and not have jumbled headers.
Headings on the export should look like the headings when you first call up a report: It should be lined up and easy to read and not a bunch of jumbled letters and symbols.

Using the system to sign in/sign out expensive school equipment - ie laptops
A completely new use. Being able to control and record which student has which device or equipment (laptops/science apparatus/knives/). Benefits include safety, efficiency, familiarity, ownership and hopefully will help maintain the condition and reduce cost of repairs
1) Each class is given a code (scan code to bring up class register)
2) Each student in a class is assigned a number (the number is associated to a code)- then, to sign out equipment....
3) scan students code (it brings up equipment number required )
4) scan code on equipment - equipment is now ASSIGNED
- to sing equipment IN...

Report that is chronological
I would like to be able to see a report in which the questions and their answers appear in the order I asked/ scanned. I would also like to be able to format the page so that the bar graphs are not cut off.

Allow learners to self-test themselves using the same content via an app or web service
For some of my content it would be great of learners could test themselves independently. This could be using an app or on a web site. You could have options to randomise the order of the questions and, if appropriate, the order of the answer.
I appreciate that some of the content that works best in Plickers is teacher-led, formative and cumulative, but I am sure many teachers do produce content that would lend itself to further independent consolidation. At the moment, we can't even easily export to put suitable content in a different service.
At the simplest level you…

More than 63 people
I have a class of 69 and would love to use plickers to help with attendance. It could be useful in lectures and large ensemble classes.

Make the app "rotatable"!
I love this new approach to what now seems like an old (but good!) idea. But I use my iPad with a keyboard in "landscape" orientation, and it's a real pain to type sideways! Please make the app rotatable so that I can use it more easily! Thanks for a super cool tool!!

It would be very helpful if we could group questions into lessons/quizzes and then export the data to a spreadsheet.

self pacing option
self pacing option so kids could complete an around the room using task cards or gallery walk
I put up math problem task cards taped around the room in which students write their answers on paper. The self pacing option would allow them to work on any problem in any given order and not have to wait or work on the same task as a class. Data would still be collected for teacher to see area of student/class weakness.1 vote
