Option to print Plicker QR cards with names automatically added from the roster page
After creating a class list it would be lovely to be able to print the QR cards with the relevant student names automatically added (not just the number). This would be useful when handing the cards out each session, reduce the likelihood of students using the wrong card and perhaps help with remembering names at the start of the year.

Subdivide a class into two "teams," or by gender. Pose the same question to the two "teams" at the same time.
Hi! I just discovered Plickers and even though the school year is over, you can bet I'll be incorporating it into my class next year!
Anyway, I often like to pit one side of the class against the other. They love this kind of competition and it drives them to succeed. I would love to see a feature where I subdivide a class into two "teams," and, activating a "competition mode" I can pose the same question to the two "teams" at the same time and have the results display side by side. In my class I would award a…

Point System
Shereka Chamblee
Jun 5, 07:48 MSTI use kahoot which allows students to answer questions and receive points for correct answers. It allows students to have fun while competing. Can you set up a point system to keep students engaged?

Scanning does not work with sony xperia phone
App does not work with sony xperia Z3 compact phone, model D5833, Android 6.0.1
When trying to scan the class all I get is a black screen. It's as if the app is unable to access the camera.
I'm really looking foward to trying plickers in my classes, but need it to work with my phone first.

We, as Kindergarten Teachers, would like to see cards that have pictures or shapes.
Common pictures or shapes would be helpful for younger students, especially when they are being introduced to plickers, or dont know their letters yet.

Show pupils names (or initials) on graphs
I'm using Plickers in the creative arts, therefore not really asking 'correct or incorrect' answers. I'm using it to measure progress with questions like:
How have you made progress today?
Therefore it'd be great to see pupils names or initials next to the results so I can question pupils further. E.g:
A. I have made progress by adding areas of tone
I could then see which pupils are aiming for higher levels etc and question groups of pupils if their name was visible.

Sign in via Google (and other services)
It takes too long to enter e-mail address and password and disrupts the flow of a lesson if, as I do, you need to it mid-lesson. It would speed things up if you could one-click sign in using Google and other services.

Possibility adding colours to the question
Is it possible to add colours to the questions? Because it's easy to add colours to the answering cards, but the colours on the cards are of no use if the questions don't have the same colours.

Random Name Chooser
Sometimes you just want to pick a student at random to ask them a question verbally in front of the class. This is the power of Plickers - because I can see the misconceptions, I know when it is worth starting a discussion on that question. And sometimes it's good if the class see that the process of picking that student is random (i.e. cold calling) as it keeps them alert. At the moment, I use classtool.net random name picker fruit machine. It's very simple functionality, it would be great if it could be built into Plickers. After all, I…

Link Google Sheet with Plickers for fast, collaborative question creation.
Creating questions would be easy in a spreadsheet. Question answers ans correct responses in different columns, with a category of class added to aid organisation would be great. Connect the Google Sheet to plickers and off you go. Copy and Paste is fine, but the current way of adding questions for your class with no sharing to speed up the process doesn't match with the amazing use of the app . Questions from a bank by subject would well be worth paying for!

Using the system to sign in/sign out expensive school equipment - ie laptops
A completely new use. Being able to control and record which student has which device or equipment (laptops/science apparatus/knives/). Benefits include safety, efficiency, familiarity, ownership and hopefully will help maintain the condition and reduce cost of repairs
1) Each class is given a code (scan code to bring up class register)
2) Each student in a class is assigned a number (the number is associated to a code)- then, to sign out equipment....
3) scan students code (it brings up equipment number required )
4) scan code on equipment - equipment is now ASSIGNED
- to sing equipment IN...

Duplicate/export/add a category
Fantastic application. My pupils love working with Plickers. It would be even greater if one could :
1. be able to duplicate (copy/paste) forms (question+answers)
2. be able to export forms, to share them with other teachers
3. add a category to forms to obtain a scoresheet associated with this category (mathematics, grammar...)
Thank you so much for this so usefull application.
Sincerly,
Emmanuel Hanon

Grouping system with different answers, no more 1 pupil yelling 'A!' and the rest also voting A.
Create a few groups, for example the bunnies, the reindeers, the chickens etc. linked to a set of Plicker cards. The replies for the different groups would be ranked differently so that, for example, the correct reply for the chickens is A, whereas for the bunnies it is C.
The reason? Simple, sometimes pupils still mumble/yell A or B, the rest follows suit. This would make it a tad harder.
