How can we make Plickers better?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  1. Can you make it so that when a student answers it turns green if red and

    I would like to see the box next to the student turn green if they get it right and red if wrong. This would give the student immediate feedback if their answer was right or not. Without this feature my only choice is to reveal the answers as students answer, which I don't want to do because of other students that haven't answered or to do it after all responses are recorded.

  2. I think it would be a little more user friendly if the queue was removed...

    I would like to be able to click on a class from the app, then click library and immediately select an entire folder of questions to go live with. It's very time consuming to have to click each individual question and then add it to the queue. I can't see how having the queue is a better option than this alternative.

  4. Integration of Plickers with Grading Software

    t would be great if there could be easy integration with our gradebooks. For example, if we could easily transport grades from Plickers to Skyward. I use my questions at the end of each day as formative assessments, and adding those into the gradebook can add up quickly.

  5. There needs to be a way to export student results so we can quickly see how many they got right/wrong. Also a way to show answer from app.

  6. Move/ slide questions into folders.

    would like a button to click in order to move files to folders. Or to be able to slide my already made questions into folders.

  7. use the video camera, multiple pics, or pano for larger scan captures.

    This is a great way to get instant feedback in large classrooms, but my choir classes are over 30 and over 50 kids. I can't back up far enough to capture the whole classroom. If there was a way to scan using the panorama camera or even short video or multiple pictures that would really help people like me who have more than just a normal size classroom!

  8. Allow all students in large classes to be seen on the live view screen with out scrolling.

    I have large classes of over 55. When using Live View, It takes time when administering the scan for me to scroll the screen to see if all students have been scanned or have answered the question. It would be great if you can make all 63 students show on the student frame.

  11. I would like to be able to drag and drop questions in my Que to change the sequence.

    Right now it's not very user friendly to be able to move only one question one space at a time.

  12. Please make an option to view student data over multiple questions at once!

    This is a great formative assessment tool, but I have no way to record data and track student achievement. I've just recently used Plickers, and am upset to see that the data collection is so difficult. Please enable this, so I can switch from another program!

  13. Print out of the students who share that same number.

    I teach 17 different classes in my subject, so I have 17 people who share the same number. Is there a way to get a print out of all the students who are using the #3 card. I teach elementary students and my students forget all the time and use the wrong card. This would make plickers more user friendly.

  14. Preview Questions Page for students to view MULTIPLE before answering

    Have a page dedicated to view multiple questions in que. Or a page where MULTIPLE questions in a certain folder can be viewed. The point of this idea is to view multiple questions on a page to give students time to review and think, then come back and answer on the live view page.

  15. More Folders in ALL areas

    Could we have more folders in all areas? How about the classes? I could use folders for sorting, 2014, 2015, Sample classes, etc. Also, maybe folders in my ques? I could prepare lessons further in the future. Thanks. You rock

  16. Have a common library of all users' questions (if given permission somehow) to add to your personal library.

    There should be a common library organized according to grade, subject, and keyword that allows users to use content created and uploaded by other users. Something like a universal library.

  17. Improved answer cards

    How about making the cards double sided (print one card per page and orient it so that when you fold it in the middle it's double sided). On the back have the A,B,C,D labelled so the child can see what letter they are responding with when they hold it up. Also put 'true' & 'yes' under A and 'false' & 'no' under B.

  18. ATTENDANCE I would like to record my class attendance.

    Plickers would be excellent to use at the start of class to record attendance. It would save time and ideally would print out a summary report at the end of the semester.

  19. Multiple pictures for questions AND answers

    I would like to be able to add more than one picture to the question and I would also like to be able to add pictures (even multiple) for the answers. My 1st graders love Plickers and we are using it, but sometimes they need a picture because they can't yet read all answers and questions.

  20. More than 4 Options

    Hi, I have just started using plickers and love it! Thanks for such an amazing tool. I would love if it was possible for there to be more than 4 options available for each question. I understand that the image students hold up would then need to change. Thanks!!
