I'm sorry, but I don't really understand why this is a problem. If you turn off "reveal answer" then the kids can all aee whose answers have been picked up by the scanner. That allows them to see when they can put their cards down, but it doesn't show the whole class what each person chose as their answer.
Why would you even want "reveal answer" activated while you're scanning? That would enble students to change their answers if a different answer seems more popular.
