How can we make Plickers better?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  1. Put pictures into answers

    I teach math and I would love to be able to add pictures to not only questions...but to answers as well! For example, when I teach graphing I would like to be able to insert pictures of graphs in the answers. Or when I teach geometry this would come in handy.

  2. A great feature to add would be the ability to insert a video, or video clip, in the "question box."

    Students would watch the video/video clip and then answer a question(s) about the video.

  3. Please Please make this easier for sharing and uploading questions. Teachers love Plickers but we need it to be easier to upload.

  5. Equation editor / images for chemistry

    Using an equation editor (like microsoft equation editor) to write chemistry equations or being able to add those equations as an image in the question's and answers fields.

  6. TIMESAVER: Import questions and answers from spreadsheet (Drive)

    Kind of like creating formulaires from spreadsheet in Google Suit, it would be great to be able to have a question in a cell and the answers in the following rows in the same column. It will save tons of time!!!

  7. To be able to down load questions from a Test generator program - including graphs, pictures, and charts

    Example: to be able to download from Exam View Test Geneator or a Microsoft word document.

  8. Copy a question within the library.

    Copying an existing question would allow me to make minor changes without retyping the whole text or inserting the same image.

  9. Is there a way to provide a bigger image on the test?

    I imported a large image but when its projected on a screen its too small for students

  10. Update to include sound files ?

    I'm a music teacher, but I also ask you this question for language colleagues.

  12. Generate links to questions.

    If there is a way for us to generate links to particular questions or class groups then we can add these links to other educational apps and provide seamless connectivity between both the apps.

  13. Import questions from text file

    I want to add questions through an import from a text file so I can use ones that I've previously created for other situations. If Plickers had a standard format for that text file we could take them from other sources like ExamView or Edmodo, tweak them into the right format and then upload them to Plickers.

  14. Add option of Recording Audio

    I am a special education teacher and several of my students require read aloud accommodations. Although I can always read the questions, it would be awesome if I could pre-record my voice reading the questions and answer choices so that I can be circulating the room scanning answers more efficiently rather than being back and forth between reading the board.

    The option to insert pictures into questions is great! What about a similar image option for answers? This would be FABULOUS!

  17. Allow teachers to share questions with each other

    My team of math teachers is all using Plickers this year. Is there a way we could share questions in our libraries with each other?

  18. Import and Export questions

    It would be nice to be able to import a set of questions or to export the questions in a folder to another media.

    Importing or exporting the questions to/from word or excel would be a nice way to keep track of my questions and classes without being logged in.

  19. Link Google Sheet with Plickers for fast, collaborative question creation.

    Creating questions would be easy in a spreadsheet. Question answers ans correct responses in different columns, with a category of class added to aid organisation would be great. Connect the Google Sheet to plickers and off you go. Copy and Paste is fine, but the current way of adding questions for your class with no sharing to speed up the process doesn't match with the amazing use of the app . Questions from a bank by subject would well be worth paying for!

  20. Copy/Paste pictures into questions

    It would be much easier to just copy & paste images into questions rather than having to save them first and then upload them!
