Create a faster way to start to do on-the-fly polling, without setting up a question
As a quick feedback tool, I would like to scan the room for student responses based on a question from outside Plickers. I'd like to just collect the data without having to set up a question (or multiple questions... e.g. reviewing a 25Q MC quiz)
Hi Plickers friends!
We actually do have a way to collect data without setting up a question — you can simply tap the [+] button to create a new question, then tap the correct answer letter(s) and go ahead and tap the camera icon to start scanning the “empty” question.
What I’m really hearing here is that you’d like to have a faster way to do on-the-fly polling, and that is something we’d very much like to work on. To that end, I’m modifying this idea title just a bit to specify that!
We’re looking forward to changing up a lot of the mobile interface to make Plickers more intuitive and easy to use over the next few weeks!
Thanks!
Jenn

Is the + still available after the latest update, because I can't seem to get ti to work on my phone since the update? + now just says add to queue

Additionally to it being a lot faster, be able to grade afterwards.

How about this... can we have an option of ABCD.. or FGHJ, which is the format used in state exams in Texas.
Also, I will like to use several quiz banks (as bell ringers or exit tickets) that I already have in hard paper, Instead of typing questions and answers on this app,,, how about, uploading the answer key only and we can follow the questions on print paper, but teachers would be able to scan the answer to check for mastery on the fly... No typing questions nor pictures, only uploading answers.. that will be on the fly -

I put QQ in the question and tell students to answer A for True and B for False. For yes/no or T/F questions this is a quick check. I ask the question orally.

I just have a question set up with a blank question box, and the choices are ABCD. Then I have a question open in another window. This could be a written question (board, or digital board) or typed in a digital document.

Any way to combine the idea and votes?

To be able to instantly take a poll of A, B, C or D - without having to have already entered a question.

Help-Can you please elaborate further on the directions from above, "simply tap the [+] button to create a new question, then tap the correct answer letter(s) and go ahead and tap the camera icon to start scanning the “empty” question." After I tap the plus button on my phone I am in my class and under "ALL" or "Planned," then if I choose "Create" it asks for a question, there is no camera icon displayed. When I click on the check mark the message says, "Question Required: Please enter a question." What am I doing wrong?
