I would love to be able to type mathematical symbols.

I would love to be able to type math equations in the questions and answers. I currently type the problems in word and use the snipping tool to save it as an image and upload it. I teach algebra. I just thought of the idea to include the answer choices in my snapshot then just have the students choose A B C or D. However, this is very time consuming and the photos are sometimes so blurry that division signs looks like addition signs and things are hard to read! I only use plickers for special review days. If I was able to type things like exponents, fractions, inequality signs, square roots right on the site, I would use plickers in my classroom everyday! I would want to upgrade my plickers and I would pay for it so that I could create long problem sets and reuse them. However, I don't see a point in doing this when it takes so much time for me to insert mathematical equations.

I LOVE plickers as our wifi and data connections don't really support my 50 student class all trying to connect at once. Please add super and subscript functionality.

You can do this with the add-on "Texify plickers" from violentmonkey. Install the add-on code and then type [; to enter maths mode and ;] to leave it. Then use ^ and _ for superscript. So [;x^2;] will come out as x squared, in the sort of italic font that text books use for mathematical notation, or [;x_1;] will appear as x with a subscript 1. You can do much more complicated maths than that too - fractions and integrals and all sorts. Hope that helps. :-)

use the " \huge{} " command

For those looking to use symbols in their questions: If you download the "tex all the things" extension for chrome, you can use La-Tex to add math symbols to both the question and the answer. I will say however, with the new version of plickers, you have to adjust the font size with the $\huge{}$ command so that students can read the answers. They are way to small to read without this adjustment.

For type mathematical symbols in plickers, you can use https://github.com/obook/TeXify-Plickers

This is desperately needed. I am extremely keen to implement plickers in my chemistry lessons but this holds me back. Even just a rich text editor would help.

This is currently number 3 in the list with 2,348 votes. Ideas with a lot fewer votes than this have come under review, been listed as "planned" or been completed. PLEASE let us type math! There are many free (Open Source) tools out there that would allow it!

If I can't write mathematical equations in the answers, can you make it possible to insert an image? Then I can create my equation in Word, screen capture it and paste it in as an image.

Many subjects require superscript and subscript to be used in questions,
Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Engineering are just a few. Cant even cut and paste. Upgrade required -

When I first saw Plickers i thought it was a great tool....until I found out that it does not do superscript and subscript. As a chemistry teacher this is a must when making up questions. Ah well back to the showme boards.

I used to be able to do this (in Firefox) with an extension, but since you updated Plickers, that no longer works. For me, that has meant that I'm just not using them at all, and that makes me sooooo sad. They are an awesome tool, and I miss them immensely! Please add the ability to render math!

Can I underline? I'd like to give a choice of less than or equal to but I can't underline.

MathJax. Add it, please.

Use MathJax. It is easy to add support for this. Please.

This feature is a must-be for scientific classes! please allows the way to write using a Latex-like syntax (may be using Latex or some other solutions inspired by Latex syntax, as wikipedia or openoffice... but real Latex scripting would be easier)

I love using plickers but writing equations, graphs, etc. in the questions and choices would be great.

would be nice to be able to custom a bit more
