Be able to insert pictures or graphs into the questions
Many subjects would benefit from the ability to add pictures or graphs into the questions. It would be SUPER easy to do if we could edit questions on the computer rather than on the app. We could simply copy and past info in. I teach geography and would like to put in a picture of a country and have them identify it. Or a math teacher would benefit from having graphs or charts in the questions. PLEASE make this happen!

Hi Plickers friends!
Thank you for helping us make this a reality for teachers everywhere with your amazing question examples, testing, and more!
Cheers,
Team Plickers

I completely agree with adding pictures. We are currently using plickers throughout the high school and a lot of subjects such as foreign language, science, social studies, math would benefit especially for NY State regents exam practice.

I teach elementary students, and I this capability would allow me to incorporate Plickers WAY more often! About 45% of our school is comprised of students who speak English as a second language, so pictures and visuals really help them increase in their understanding of a question or answer. In addition, I would love to pose a question using a photo and ask students to identify what is shown. For example, during a plants unit I could ask students to identify the part of the plant being shown in the photo.

As a math educator teaching the Common Core Curriculum, I would like to be able to include modeling pictures, such as Algebra Tiles, in both the question and answers. It would not be an intricate picture, just simple shapes that are colored. Even if you added the ability to use colored shapes and/or cut and paste such shapes from a word document, it would be helpful. For now, I will have to put an expression modeled with Algebra Tiles on the board and ask students to solve/simplify, and than find the recorded answer in the multiple choice questions. However, if I want the students to choose the correct model for an expression from a numerical expression, it will be to hard to provide multiple models on the board for students to choose from and than enter the correct lettered response on the Plicker. Maybe you could find a way to have a option to choose shapes from a menu that included some the popular math tools such as Algebra Tiles and integer chips? With that being said...what a great tool you have created! I want to use the card throughout the period as a formative assessment "check in" tool but am a middle school teacher and couldn't imagine how students would be able to hang onto the card throughout the period, so; I attached magnets to the back so that students can place the card on the metal part of their desk leg when its not neing used. I am just hoping that the metal will not interfere with the scanning process!

Agreed. I'm a chemistry teacher and I'd love to be able to post reactions formulae (with subscripts and other symbols that I can't type into the pluckers questions box).

This would be an amazing feature to add, especially for primary teachers! I would love to do this with my 4th grade students as well.

i completely agree. I'm teaching science and if you make this happen, it will be one of the most powerful educational tools for each and every teacher. We are all waiting for that change. Make it fast please :D
