Organize questions
There needs to be an organization system for questions. It would be great to group them in folders by topics. For example, as an English teacher I could have questions sorted by folders for our various grammar units. Also, the idea of having quizzes with multiple questions would be useful and reduce clutter. For example, I wanted to poll my class with four or five grammar questions and had to create that many separate questions one at a time instead of having just one quiz.
It would also be great to re-use questions and/or folders in other classes.

Folders are live! If you have other ideas about organizing your plickers questions beyond this feature, please start a new idea thread!
Thank you so much for all your help getting this feature off the ground!

It would also help if you could move around the teacher tiles and questions into the order you want---

I agree! I am a fine arts teacher in elementary school, and we share our Plickers account with all Special Areas teachers (so we each didn't have to type 700 names in!) It would be great to have a way to file my music questions, PE questions, etc. so we don't have to sort through all questions.
This is a great check-up assessment tool--Thanks! -

This HAS to be a priority. I love plickers as do my students but I worry about the manageability of it.

I agree we need an organization system. We teach such a variety of topics and some of us grade levels. Folders would be wonderful. I know as educators we want to create it and then use it over and over again.

Really need this. In a department with 4 teachers we would want to create questions by level and topic for everyone to use but there would be too many questions to wade through top find which ones you wanted to use with your class.

Organize in folders by topic.

Drag and drop type feature where questions can be put into folders, then organized within the folder (by # or something like that)

I totally agree. I teach 5th grade with multiple subjects. The kids love using Plickers but I find it difficult because there is no way to organize my questions so I can do them well in advance and be able to get the ones for a certain area.

I agree! I teach three different grade levels and 2 different subjects per grade level. 6 different assessments per week and no way to organize the questions make it very difficult to use Plickers over an entire school year. I would love to be able to organize questions by unit and grade levels.

A way to organize questions by chapters or units would make this program perfect. It would save time having to scroll through questions in the archive as we build up our question banks

LOVE the site, the only thing that would make it better is if I could create folders with questions for different topics that I could access when needed!!

I agree. I have two different classes of Math 9 and would like to be able to organize as follows without having to re-assign the cards to all the students in my entire class each time:
Math Class #1 --> with in this folder have "lesson 1" (a set of questions) for p. 323 Q 1-3.
Then a new, separate file/entry for "lesson 2" p. 328 Q 7-9, a new "lesson 3" for p. 333 Q 4-7, etc.Math Class #2 --> with in this folder have "lesson 1" for p. 323 Q 1-3, file/entry for "lesson 2" p. 328 Q 7-9, "lesson 3" p. 333 Q 4-7, etc. [Copying the same questions from the other class but for a different list of students]
If these could be sorted within each class by subcategories (Polynomials, Equation of a Line, Data Management, etc) to match up with units that would be even better.

Organizing questions is key to the success of the Plickers. Please create a way to make folders or add tag lines to questions so I can easily pull up/find the questions each my classes.

With the system at the moment, we are going to end up with a very long list of hundreds of questions. Picking the appropriate question for a class next year, will take some searching.
Need to be able sort questions into 1) subject and 2) topic.
A simple 2-tier folder system would be perfect.
Example: I would click on the 'physics' folder and then I would click on the 'heat' folder and I would see the list of questions for that topic.
Now it would be awesome, if it this stage, I could see which of those questions had been already submitted to the particular class I am teaching.
Thanks,
Declan -

I agree with the person below. Having a place to organize would be great! I was given an idea and I will use that but in the end I truly think have a folder would be great. thanks

Plickers really needs to setup a way to organize questions that we'd like to use again in the future without having a million questions to scroll through (we could use the same formative assessments from unit to unit & year to year). I know we can "archive" questions, but that doesn't put them into a folder. It would help to have an organizational method similar to folders for different subjects or topics. Please consider working on this; I don't want to click "archive" or "unarchive" over & over and scroll constantly. This is such a cool app, but the organizational piece would make it that much more AWESOME!
