I'm currently preparing my application for university and feeling overwhelmed with writing my personal statement. I've come across a lot of websites offering personal statement services, but I'm not sure if they’re actually helpful or just a waste of money.

Has anyone here used one of these services before? Did it improve your application or provide any helpful guidance? I’d love to hear about your experiences good or bad before I decide whether to invest in one.
