How can we make Plickers better?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  1. Scan individual students tests and have the score by scanning the sheet

    That would be great to have also the option of individual quiz. With, QR codes and multiples choices questions, we could make small tests and have the score by scanning the sheet.

  2. would like to be able to see a list of students who answered each question. When I use it for lunch count it takes too long to sort through

  3. A random # generator/student chooser on plicker.

    I would love to have a button to click that randomly chooses a plicker number and shows the name of a student whom will be asked to share out about their answer. This would be a useful feature as part of the live view graph results as well as the class list.

  4. Add pictures or audio files to answers

    It would be nice for music and language teachers to add pictures not only to the questions but also to the answers.
    Also it would be helpful to add audiofiles to questions and answers.

  7. Share account information in different accounts

    I would like to know if you can explain me how can I move the same questions from one account to another.
    I mean, I’m a teacher in a school and I would like to share my questions from my subject with my schoolmates.

  8. Feedback Survey Function

    plickers would also be a great tool for giving feedback. Since you don’t have to match codes to people, it is possible to get an immediate and anonymous feedback (for whatver). (It is allreay possible, I know, but I think such questions should have another category…)

    For that purpose another question category „assessment" or „evaluation“ or „opinion check“ beside (true/false and multible choice) would be helpful.
    you could ask something like: Do you agree with… How did you like the...

  9. Have an option for the cards to use NUMBERS instead of ALPHABE

    I created a quiz to review music note names of lines and spaces. The choices are confusing to read. A : B; B : A; C : A; D : C. It would be MUCH easier to read with NUMBERS. 1 : B; 2 : A; 3 : A; 4 : C

  11. Easier/Bulk/Folder Selection and Deselection in Scoresheet

    When viewing reports->scoresheet it is possible to select a date range for the questions, and it is possible to check and uncheck which questions count in the "Total %". However, it is not yet possible to bulk select or deselect questions.

    I’m proposing a feature which would allow the user to be able to select which questions are checked and unchecked based on which folder the question came from.

    For example, today I used plicker for a science test review, a math lesson, and an exit slip for reading. The science test has 30 questions, the math lesson has 11,…

    Amazing application! Thank you!
    In my school(my subject) I have about 400 pupils. If you implement a category of classes and questions it would be great!
    For example. I have 4 classes of 7 and 8 th Grade. Each of them divided by 2. In total 16 groups. In each group they have similar questions. Perfect, if I get 7th grade groups(8 pcs) and add them question group for 7th grade and if I get 8th grade groups(8 pcs) and add them question group for 8th grade and etc.

    Allow users to type questions using MarkDown support. This would add a ton of flexibility in formatting questions.

  20. Toggle student responses from the app

    I think this used to be default in the old version. But I like revealing the answer and also revealing which student got it correct, from the app, instead of having to show student responses from the browser, which is cumbersome, and I always forget to hide them before the next question. By default I want their answers hidden as they answer, and revealed when the answer is revealed. It would be nice to also have the choice to reveal student answers (A B C D) or just have their name change Green or Red. It depends on the class,…
