How can we make Plickers better?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  1. Have the results sent to other databases/services

    I would love if we could use the app linked to another learning platform. If there was an interface that could be developed to do this it would benefit so many others using other platforms!

  2. How about no cards needed

    I love this platform, but now that my school is going one to one, I would love to be able to share my questions and have students answer electronically instead of with cards.

  3. fine tune reports

    please put a feature to fine tune reports (if you miss a quiz it is zero) (more choices higher score) . Otherwise if a student shows up rarely but answers correctly he/she gets higher score. Also some questions carry more value(ABC vs ABCD)

  4. Self Assessment in PE.

    Allowing students to self assess themselves in PE where they can give themselves a mark of 0,1,2,3 that corresponds to A,B,C,D. The end of the term it would create a percentage grade would be nice. Right now it is either a correct of incorrect answer.

  6. Can I share the classroom with other teachers?

    Should I then have an identity that is shared with all teachers? When for instance iPads are used it would be practical to rapidly scan the equipment used. Then you would see where each iPad is situated in the group. (Lists are timedemanding to use.)

  7. Generate links to questions.

    If there is a way for us to generate links to particular questions or class groups then we can add these links to other educational apps and provide seamless connectivity between both the apps.

  9. Show % score when revealing votes

    I find that showing the percentage score when revealing the right answers to a question (or just after) is missing.

    Kids have fun seeing who's right or wrong, but they also want to know who has the best cumulative score.

    So instead of just showing the good result it would be nice to be able to also show the % score of everyone at each question + ordering answers on this score.

    1) optional timer of questions: It is great, that there is no timer, that sets students under pressure, BUT for some purposes it would be nice to have the option…

  11. Automatic numbering

    • automatic numbering of questions: Some students ask, how many questions there are in the queue. It would be nice, if the system would number the questions automatically, so that you always know, how many they have allready answered.

    -Progress overview: It would be great if there was a percentage bar, that shows that (e.g. 65%) of the queue is over…

  12. Copy a question within the library.

    Copying an existing question would allow me to make minor changes without retyping the whole text or inserting the same image.

  14. Option to create a pdf of student scoresheet

    Instead of exporting to CSV file, have an option to export scoresheet to PDF.

  15. Display also the time besides date

    The date is displayed in >reports >question history. But not the time.

    Sometimes we want to re-ask the same question to the same students in the same class to see a progress (after discussion). For that we need the time displayed so that we can see which survey came first.

    Alternatively to a time display, we also could display ascent numbers (order).

    share questions, organised by topic and level. vote on questions (simple like would suffice) and ability to comment on the questions in order to improve them.

  18. When you attempt to input "First Name" to label a student in a class, only able to type 1 word. Need to be able to type more than 1 word.

    When you attempt to input "First Name" to label a student in a class, you are only able to type 1 word. Sometimes students' first names are multiple words like "Bobbi Jo". Current field doesn't allows for that. Need to be able to type more than 1 word for the first name.

  20. Option for reports on completion as well as accuracy.

    I often use Plickers as Do Now for participation credit so a drop down on score report to see how many a student answered over a date range would be a helpful addition
