How can we make Plickers better?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  1. Collapse/expand the class list in LiveView?

    I'd like the option to collapse/expand the class list from the right hand side of LiveView. The question could then fill the screen when pupils first see it. The list could then be expanded when we are ready to scan responses.

  2. Option to create a pdf of student scoresheet

    Instead of exporting to CSV file, have an option to export scoresheet to PDF.

  5. Cards that have student name and letters on reverse

    Instead of printing 2 cards to a page, can you merge the cards and class data so that you can print 1 card to half a page, and make it so that you can fold the page with the student name on the other half, plus large ABCD letters so as the child holds it up, they can see from the back which way up it is? I have to do this by hand otherwise and very time consuming! Let me know if you want an example.

    share questions, organised by topic and level. vote on questions (simple like would suffice) and ability to comment on the questions in order to improve them.

  7. Be able to mark absent students and ...

    when everyone in a class has answered a question it immediately goes to the next question.

  9. Sharing and saving time

    • to duplicate the answers (or maybe the whole question, so you could modify the question keeping the same answers)
    • to share questions or even folders in my library
    • to queue folders instead of questions
    • to queue several folders at a time and get separate reports without having to untick them in the day report
    • to export reports in an spreadsheet (ideally drive format)

    To use a Word document or Google docs to be used when posting questions to the plickers. It would be like them taking a test/quiz using plickers rather than in paper form. I teach mathematics/Algebra 1.

  13. Display also the time besides date

    The date is displayed in >reports >question history. But not the time.

    Sometimes we want to re-ask the same question to the same students in the same class to see a progress (after discussion). For that we need the time displayed so that we can see which survey came first.

    Alternatively to a time display, we also could display ascent numbers (order).

  14. Front Facing Camera/Laptop Camera Integration

    I am an elementary physical eduction teacher in NJ. Right now students are completely dependent on me to scan the plickers. I have created "plicker necklaces" for my students and would like for them to be completely independent during a lesson and scan/answer a question whenever they have completed a task. If I was able to use a forward facing camera on an iPad (or similar device) or set up a laptop as a station, this would allow me to continue instruction uninterrupted as well as tailor my lesson for the students that seem to be struggling cognitively.   16. paperforms to generate multiple choice questions by students

    It would be nice if the students could fill out a paper form with a field for the question and four fields for the answers and one mark for the correct answer. The teacher would scan the form with his cam and would have a new question for the class.

  19. Plickers Attendance

    Every student will be provided with plickers cards with unique patterns on it. At the end of every class or lecture , the faculty in the class scans all the cards for attendance. In case of the cards of respective student misses, it will be marked as absent. If the card is scanned it is marked as present. In this case the proxy of attendance can be reduced and faculty's time will be saved
