How can we make Plickers better?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  1. Shuffle Answers

    Be able to shuffle answers to decrease cheating between classes. I currently have to make 3 versions of every quiz. Being able to just click a "shuffle" or "randomize" button would be SO much easier, faster, and would decrease the repeated clutter in my folders. Please please please!

  2. 8 answers instead of 4

    It'd be great to assign two cards to each
    pupil so that we can create quizzes with 8 answers, That would be easy
    for pupils to use them: a card at the front with answers from a to d and
    at the back the answers from e to h. And that would allow the teacher to
    make it a bit more difficult for children to answer at random and make
    the assessment finer. And there would still be the option of using just
    the one basic card with the 4 options.

  3. Copy a question within the library.

    Copying an existing question would allow me to make minor changes without retyping the whole text or inserting the same image.

  4. 100 cards or enough for a whole year group

    We would like to be able to print cards in the pupils planners.

    If we could assign every pupil in a year group with a unique card​ that would solve the issue of having to have a different card for every class.

    Is that technically possible?

    Create school groups similar to class dojo so that when one teacher creates a class or adds a student to the software, other teachers can use that data without having to re-enter it.

  6. I know that sharing questions is a huge deal to everyone. Could you make it so that there is a school login for the account? Then teacher LI

    I know that providing a bank for everyone using the app's questions is going to take some time. I know it's a bandaid, but putting it so that there's a school account and then teacher account and only store the information for just that school in the same bank would help a lot and also really promote the app. It wouldn't really matter if all teachers could access all the information for all students in that school because most can in other more formal assessment means as well.

  7. Image size in Live View window.

    The amount of screen space allocated to images in the Live View window is quite small. Resizing the image on the user end has no impact on this. Please allow some customization of how the Live View screen is organized. Examples, resizing text, other components of the window, etc.

  8. Is there a way to provide a bigger image on the test?

    I imported a large image but when its projected on a screen its too small for students

  9. Edit class rosters more easily

    Enable editing class rosters so that we can delete all students with one click, without deleting the entire "class" from our acct. Each year we have new students, but the teachers, color codes, etc. stay the same. Currently, I have to delete EACH student before uploading my new rosters. I don't want to delete the teacher's names.

  11. Update to include sound files ?

    I'm a music teacher, but I also ask you this question for language colleagues.

  12. Chromecast Support

    Wouldn't it be nice to be able to use only one device, both for scanning and for question visualization? It would be great to have Chromecast support: if you're logged in and using the app to scan the cards, just hit the Chromecast icon to have the corresponding liveview projected on the board (no need to project it from an additional computer - you only need a chromecast of course).

    I am happy to share my existing folders of questions freely when that feature becomes available but please let me reuse my content in other services, and make it easy to get the data out.

    If there is a way for us to generate links to particular questions or class groups then we can add these links to other educational apps and provide seamless connectivity between both the apps.

  20. Summarize the results in your group for several months totally

    The grading of students would be easier if the results could be summarized for five or six months in a row. In that way the teacher could give a grade for the percent of correct answers to each pupil in the group.
