    You can type mathematical symbols using special character menus, keyboard shortcuts, or LaTeX formatting. For example, in Word or Google Docs, use Insert → Symbol, or type LaTeX codes like \alpha for α. On Windows, Alt codes (e.g., Alt + 945 = α) also work for many symbols.
