How can we make Plickers better?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  2. Larger response panel

    I’m wondering if there is a way to change how large the student response panel is. My students like to see the checkmark appear by their name when I’ve received their response. However, since I have a large class, not all can see their name unless I go to the computer and scroll down.

    Hi Jennifer,

    Since last you wrote, we’ve updated the Live View with a larger panel and also moved the students’ card numbers inside the square checkmark box to save space and enable more student names to be displayed. Has this been helpful for you?

  6. Stickers

    To make the letters larger, I simply placed sticky dots over the existing letters and rewrote the letters, larger, with a fine tipped marker. It makes it easier for young students.

  7. Add url variables

    I use the Liveweb add-in for powerpoint to insert the live view screen into powerpoints and I would like to specify that the live view page open with the graph view rather than the list of students.

    Maybe I'm just lazy, but I'd like to avoid having to go over to my laptop to change the view when I use a clicker for changing slides.

  11. Save picture of Question

    When doing questions on the fly, the question is written on the white/black/smart board, then I quickly put the question and answer into the app to record the result.

    It would be really helpful if, instead of re-writing out the entire question, I could put in a picture (I'm on my phone with a camera anyway) of the question as I've already written it in the board. Then later, when i review the data, I know what they were answering, instead of having "Poll 47010".

  12. Assign students Plickers card numbers that stay the same across multiple classes

    I have 5 classes. I cannot seem to create more than one class and my kids have certain assigned numbers that repeat for each class. It would help me know that in my 4th block class, # 1, 5, 17 got wrong answer and in 2nd block, #2, 6,17 got it wrong.

  14. Delete ALL questions for a class on the mobile device

    I love that we can just do this "on the fly" or be able to put questions and answers in ahead of time. I am assuming it will be easier to delete ALL questions once you make it possible to edit/delete questions on the computer, but I would still always like to be able to delete ALL on the mobile device to be able to just start something new in class.

  15. Gridded Responses

    Plickers is great but being limited to multiple choice can be a real setback as a teacher. I have seen different programs and apps that have the ability to scan gridded response and bubble sheets. Seeing these got me to thinking that it would be really great to have a two sided card. On one side would be the current multiple choice plicker card but on the other side there would be a gridded response area.   17. This app is a good idea, but execution is lacking. It doesn't work at all on android.

    On Android, I can't even add anyone. It only has a demo class. It should have an easy class roster loader, custom quiz bank, and a good feedback system.
