How can we make Plickers better?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  1. Viewing the entire question in question queue

    There's no real use for the question queue in its present limited state.
    Moving a question one up, or down, is time consuming and doesn't serve
    unless you can actually read the full question (by moving mouse over a question). Plus, a drop & drag feature would make the Queue VERY useful.

  3. The ability to print the scoresheet with color-coded scores. When exported to CSV, the color-coding disappears.

  4. Bulk management of cards and folders

    Often I need to move questions from a folder to another, and doing it one by one is really boring and time expensive.

    It would be great a function to bulk select and move cards.

    Moreover it would be useful to add to a class queue not single questions one by one but an entire folder at once.

  5. Upload A Short Voice Clip

    Is it possible to add a short voice clip to the question? This will be usefu for lanaguage study courses.

  6. Explanation of correct answer. A fifth entry field to if needs be add an explanation to fix misconceptions

    I often use diagnostic questions and then find that to explain to students why it's correct I have to go elsewhere. Some jpg embedded into a fifth field that then pops up if filled to recap some concepts.

  7. generate score sheet for each folder created in Library

    It would be awesome if we were able to chose a folder we have created when generating the score sheet for students instead of by date range. If I have created folders with questions I would like to be able to pull up the scores for those questions only instead of un-clicking all questions and re-clicking the questions I want to include in the report to send to Excel.

  8. Select All/Deselect All

    Please provide the option for a select/deselect all in terms of questions, or at least the opportunity to select multiple questions at once and then add them all to the queue at the same time. Currently, to add a question to a queue takes three clicks and is far more cumbersome than it needs to be. It can be a scramble to get the queue ready to go before the next class during a passing period.

  9. I want to see the total count of questions listed in a given library folder.

    I can see how many pages of questions, but it would be helpful to see how many Qs are in a folder as well.

  11. Does Plickers work if there is no network on the phone or if the wifi is down?

    Hi,

    I am interested to know if I will be able to use plickers even if there is no wifi in the classroom?
    I would like to come and update the data received after I am back at my desk after the class. Is this possible??

  12. Click multiple classes for a question to be queued.

    I need to add the same question to several classes. There should be an option to click a box next to each class the question is needed for.

  13. Scan individual students tests and have the score by scanning the sheet

    That would be great to have also the option of individual quiz. With, QR codes and multiples choices questions, we could make small tests and have the score by scanning the sheet.

  15. Group classes to assign questions more quickly

    I'm using Plickers for mass assessment. Make it possible to group classes and add questions to all the classes in a group with one click, rather than having to individually assign questions to each teacher. I teach elementary music, and it would be SO MUCH EASIER to assign a question to all my groups (6 grade level clicks) instead of 32 clicks for each teacher individually, times however many questions, as it must be done now. What a time waster!

  16. Option to change scoresheet percentages to a graph

    I'd like to see an option to view the scoresheet data as a graph. Basically I want a way to display students scores for multiple questions (a quiz) against each other in the form of a graph. Something easy for the students to read and understand.

    It could simply take the overall student percentage and turn this into a graph. I find that the students love seeing their overall scores and a simpler way to do so would be very handy.

  19. Allow for option to search for words in answers

    I can search for a question by typing in a word contained in the question, but if the word isn't in the question (and in the answer) it won't find it.
