How can we make Plickers better?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  2. Update to include sound files ?

    I'm a music teacher, but I also ask you this question for language colleagues.

  3. Chromecast Support

    Wouldn't it be nice to be able to use only one device, both for scanning and for question visualization? It would be great to have Chromecast support: if you're logged in and using the app to scan the cards, just hit the Chromecast icon to have the corresponding liveview projected on the board (no need to project it from an additional computer - you only need a chromecast of course).

  4. Let me export my questions please

    I am happy to share my existing folders of questions freely when that feature becomes available but please let me reuse my content in other services, and make it easy to get the data out.

  9. Generate links to questions.

    If there is a way for us to generate links to particular questions or class groups then we can add these links to other educational apps and provide seamless connectivity between both the apps.

  11. Summarize the results in your group for several months totally

    The grading of students would be easier if the results could be summarized for five or six months in a row. In that way the teacher could give a grade for the percent of correct answers to each pupil in the group.

    30 days is too short. We should be able to see the results of a whole term for one child/class.

  14. Import questions from text file

    I want to add questions through an import from a text file so I can use ones that I've previously created for other situations. If Plickers had a standard format for that text file we could take them from other sources like ExamView or Edmodo, tweak them into the right format and then upload them to Plickers.

  15. Adding a SOUND FILE to multiple choice.

    Sound file could be uploaded as a .wav mp3 or mp4. This would really assist with guided listening.

  16. Add option of Recording Audio

    I am a special education teacher and several of my students require read aloud accommodations. Although I can always read the questions, it would be awesome if I could pre-record my voice reading the questions and answer choices so that I can be circulating the room scanning answers more efficiently rather than being back and forth between reading the board.

  18. Have a place to add in standards and allow for filtering results

    It would be helpful to add in which standard the question is addressing, then be able to filter by standard when it's time to work on report cards.

  19. Google Classroom

    It would be great if you could integrate Plickers with Google Classroom. This would allow classes to be imported and results or questions to be inputted into the students grade for that assignment etc.

  20. Alternating letters for standardized tests

    Many tests don't use just ABCD as answer choices--they alternate with FGHJ (or another combo). Having cards that have both of these printed (usually like A/F, B/G, C/H, D/J) makes it easier when taking grades.
