  1. It would be nice to be able to set up the cards in a seating arrangement, instead of being limited to 3 columns.

Make student boxes so they can be dragged around to do a seating chart. And allow the box not have a card assigned. The most time consuming part of using plickers is handing out the cards.

  2. Display correct answers with color only

I'd like to be able to display the correct answers (by color only) so that a student knows if they are correct or not, and cannot peak at someone else's answer.

  3. Whiteboard on the question creation section.

I would also like to see a feature where you can incorporate a whiteboard drawing feature where you can use your mouse to draw equations for math, pictures for social students, science, or allow you annotate over pictures feature that someday will be incorporated.

  4. Find a way that students can't cheat and peak at each other's card

I teach 6th grade and the students glance at each other's cards. It would be great to come up with a way that students can't cheat.

  5. great to have a completely anonymous mode. In Demo mode you can see the students letter response.

I told the students that they could answer anonymously but I can see the letter response right above their card.

  6. calendar!

I would find it very useful if I could schedule plickers for a particular day. I like to have my questions prepared ahead of time, but it's so awkward scrolling through all of my questions.

  8. Cards for Primary Grades

As a first grade teacher I had to come up with a way for my children to hold the card the right way. Often they were covering part of the bar code with their fingers (the one with 2 per page). So I put stickers on the four corners and call them their finger spots. This way they know where their fingers should be and don't cover any of the bar code for easy scanning. It would be great if these could be printed on the card though so they are more durable.

  9. Different sized qr codes

be able to print at least 4 QR codes to a page. Or have them the size of "name tag" Avery sticker labels to stick to the back of other answer methods such as personal white boards.

    Hi friends,

You can print 4 QR codes to a page by printing the standard set with 2 pages per 8.5 × 11″ sheet. Since each standard page has 2 Plickers QR codes on them, when you print 2 per page, it will automatically have 4 codes per page for you!

    Best,

    Jenn

  11. Larger response panel

I’m wondering if there is a way to change how large the student response panel is. My students like to see the checkmark appear by their name when I’ve received their response. However, since I have a large class, not all can see their name unless I go to the computer and scroll down.

    Hi Jennifer,

Since last you wrote, we’ve updated the Live View with a larger panel and also moved the students’ card numbers inside the square checkmark box to save space and enable more student names to be displayed. Has this been helpful for you?

    Thank you for your feedback!

  15. Stickers

To make the letters larger, I simply placed sticky dots over the existing letters and rewrote the letters, larger, with a fine tipped marker. It makes it easier for young students.

  16. Assessing understanding using Plickers

In our school over here in the UK, we like to ask the children about their current understanding (sometimes at the start, sometimes during and sometimes at the end of lessons). We use traffic light colours to do this. I have added a red dot next to the A, an orange dot next to the B, a green dot next to the C and a white dot next to D. Red normally means limited understanding and need help, amber is getting there, green means they have understood it and white is expert meaning they could teach it someone else. It…

  17. Add url variables

I use the Liveweb add-in for powerpoint to insert the live view screen into powerpoints and I would like to specify that the live view page open with the graph view rather than the list of students.

Maybe I'm just lazy, but I'd like to avoid having to go over to my laptop to change the view when I use a clicker for changing slides.

  19. Add other graph display options

It would be good if there were options for displaying the data/graphs including:
    - embed code for individual poll graphs
    - colour
    - graph type
