Multiple answers required in order to be correct
Our division and state tests often require students to choose multiple answer choices for a question, however, ALL of the correct answer choices must be selected in order for the question to be considered as correct. On Plickers, multiple answers can be selected as correct, but students only have to choose one of them in order to count as correct. It would be nice if there was an option to create questions with multiple answers, but require that all of the correct choices be chosen in order for the answer to be counted as correct.

Add tags to questions to allow searching of large libraries
FOlders are useful for orghanisation but tags for questions would also allow you to quickly search existing question library for relevant Qs. E.g. folders for organisation by class, but still able to search tags for relevant content/topic.

Create a faster way to start to do on-the-fly polling, without setting up a question
As a quick feedback tool, I would like to scan the room for student responses based on a question from outside Plickers. I'd like to just collect the data without having to set up a question (or multiple questions... e.g. reviewing a 25Q MC quiz)

Hi Plickers friends!
We actually do have a way to collect data without setting up a question — you can simply tap the [+] button to create a new question, then tap the correct answer letter(s) and go ahead and tap the camera icon to start scanning the “empty” question.
What I’m really hearing here is that you’d like to have a faster way to do on-the-fly polling, and that is something we’d very much like to work on. To that end, I’m modifying this idea title just a bit to specify that!
We’re looking forward to changing up a lot of the mobile interface to make Plickers more intuitive and easy to use over the next few weeks!
Thanks!

Built in LATEX equation editor for questions and answers
As a physics teacher it would be a real boon to be able to quickly and easily insert equations to questions and answers. Latex would be perfect for this, and online platforms already exist which convert latex code into an equation image. Combining this with Plickers would be absolutely awesome.

Import Images via Google Drive
The 'Add Image' tool is great! But you can only upload pictures that are saved on your computer. I only use Google Drive and it would be great if I could access images from there instead of only being able to access images saved on my computer. Even better would be the ability to copy and paste images into the question box.

Import questions from 3rd-party sources
It would be great to be able to create the questions on the website as well as the app and to be able to import preexisting questions from other sources like USA Test Prep, etc.
*Note from Plickers: We'd love to hear more about the resources you'd like to import questions from -- this will better guide us in figuring out what content-providers we'd want to work with down the road to provide better content for you!

Assessing understanding using Plickers
In our school over here in the UK, we like to ask the children about their current understanding (sometimes at the start, sometimes during and sometimes at the end of lessons). We use traffic light colours to do this. I have added a red dot next to the A, an orange dot next to the B, a green dot next to the C and a white dot next to D. Red normally means limited understanding and need help, amber is getting there, green means they have understood it and white is expert meaning they could teach it someone else. It…

clone a question
Can we please have the ability to clone a question, so that we could input one question and copy it multiple times and edit the answer. eg Factors of Production are Land , Labour, Capital and Enterprise. We could ask students 4 different questions and only change the stem as we would have the four answers in already.

Have the response options be able to be numbers OR letters (e.g. A or 1, B or 2).
For younger students who may not know their letters or are being questioned about their letters, have the responses be letters can get confusing for them. To remove this confusion, having the option to switch from letters to numbers may be helpful.

paperforms to generate multiple choice questions by students
It would be nice if the students could fill out a paper form with a field for the question and four fields for the answers and one mark for the correct answer. The teacher would scan the form with his cam and would have a new question for the class.

Penalize questions
In order to do more difficult proofs... the app could penalize the questions answer incorrectly, so you can make your students think about the answer.

Have an easier way of adding images to questions that doesn't involve finding it on the internet and saving it to your computer.
Being able to insert clipart from a bank of images or being able to insert directly from the internet without having to save the image first.
