  1. Allow for option to search for words in answers

I can search for a question by typing in a word contained in the question, but if the word isn't in the question (and in the answer) it won't find it.

  2. Option to delay the reveal of an image/graphic

Have the option to delay the presentation of an image (one that illustrates the answer and allows for discussion) until after the question has been asked and all answers have been submitted.

For example: If the question is "On which continent is Myanmar located?", I could include an image of a blank global map with the question, and once students submit their answers I can reveal a new image of the global map with a star on the location of Myanmar.

I don't want this image to appear alongside the question itself because it gives away the answer. But for…

  4. Start with a practice question to check voting technique is understood

I usually start with a test question - "What letter is this?" with an interesting image of an A, B, C or D.

If you built this in, then the question could be easily included at the start by default, without adding to the stats. And I wouldn't have to remember to include this in my queue!

  7. weighted

Weighted answers (half and full credit).

This would be useful for me a second language teacher.

Scenario: given a choice of four answers, I would like to have an option of "I don't understand this question" that would give the student half credit.

    Why I want this:
    - the job of my students is to demonstrate comprehension (and lack of comprehension). In this instance, they are clearly incentivized to do so (without the anxiety of doing so publicly).
    - has a better payoff than merely taking a wild guess.
    - it's very clear and direct communication to the instructor (which…

I would like to be able to copy these questions/answers directly into a word document. Instead, now I need to copy each answer piece by piece.

  9. Vote for an oral presentation

    Hello,
I would like to suggest you another functionality. I'm teacher, and I would like to use Plickers to vote. For exemple, I have a student who make a presentation, and every others students could vote for him.
The A face could correspond to Insufficient, B for satisfactory , C for well and D for very Good.I would like to attribute points to each face, for example :A - Insufficient : 0
    B- Satisfactoty : 1C- Well : 2D- Very good : 3
    ou change
    A - Insufficient : 5
    B- Satisfactoty : 10C- Well : 15
    D- Very good :…

  12. "Comprehension Check" option

This would simply allows students to vote, but no prep of questions is required--simply polling the results in real-time to check their understanding.

  14. Plickers could have pre-created questions in a data base to choose from.

Plickers could have pre-created questions in a data base. They could be categorized like Movies, Actors, TV Shows, Sports, books and general interest. Then we could use your questions to insert them in our queues. For instance...I could have 3 vocabulary questions and then one about movies (to make more motivating). Then 3 more of my questions and then another about sports. And you could have simple questions like: Which of this movies is not about Sci-fi : a) Star Wars b) Contact c) E.T d) Deep blue. We teachers could save A LOT of time if I have the…

  15. To be able to tag a question with a specific standard that would then be entered into a bank so teachers could search specific standards.

If we were able to create questions and tag them with the specific standard then we could share them on the site. Teachers would then be able to search for a standard and the bank of questions would be available to them. This would save everyone so much time and would stop us from reinventing the wheel.

  17. Possibility adding colours to the question

Is it possible to add colours to the questions? Because it's easy to add colours to the answering cards, but the colours on the cards are of no use if the questions don't have the same colours.

  18. Pop up menus instead of drop down

It would be great to have the list of class names pop up instead of drop down when adding questions to a queue. I have 8+ classes and when I click to add a question to the queue, I have to scroll down to see the bottom of the list. This is a lot of scrolling when I'm adding many questions to queue.

  19. Assessing with Plickers, problems and thoughts.

Today I'm giving a quiz using the plickers. When I had a student come in half way through the test I realized that there was no way to go back since the questions disappear out of the queue. It also made me realize that giving a makeup quiz for my absentees will also be a problem. During this lovely flu and cold season I will need to reload the quiz into the queue every time I have a student make up the quiz. Being able to print out a paper version of a set of questions or the option export…

  20. Have the ability to copy and paste images

On the web-based version, you currently have the ability to upload an image. It would be easier to be able to paste image files in. This should be for the question as well as the answer choices, as right now you can't put images in the answer choices.
