I would love to be able to type mathematical symbols.

Many state tests bold and italicize words for revising and editing sections. The ability to do this would be highly valuable for the students to see answer choices exactly as they would appear on the test.

Type the equation or symbol into a word document. Using the snipping tool make an image of it and save it. You can then enter the image of the equation or symbol into the question box. It will appear MUCH smaller in the editing box, but will be normal size after you save it. Hope that helps.
This will not help you for answers, but you can also set up the question with the answers in the question box and then use the multiple choice options as an A or B or C or D typed in. -

Für den Musikunterricht wäre spitze, wenn man nicht nur Texte und Bilder als Fragen erstellen könnte, sondern auch Hörbeispiele einbauen könne :-)

As a math teacher, I would like to use Plicker more often, but it is time consuming because of the math symbols.

This is important for science and math teachers. Otherwise, students are unable to correctly view equations and formulas.

Please, please. Maths symbols, just the normal type fonts at least which are available on Word would be a great start.
Thanks for this great product!! -

If HTML codes are allowed to format text, such as bold, italics, underline, subscript and superscripts, then this problem is solved halved.

That'll be great if the plickers can provide different maths symbols and pictures can be uploaded for each choice.

Chemistry teachers love equations but they have to be correct to be really useful

I would love this capability. In the meantime I do the following - create a powerpoint presentation and use the equation editor to create the question you need. If the answers are algebraic, used indices etc you need to create an A B C D list as well. Select what you have created and open the Paint accessory. Paste your equation into paint. It is now a picture. Use the crop option in paint to make it nice and small, save it as an image file and then use the "add picture" option in the plickers question editor to put it in your question.

I would love to see a simple math expression editor. Right now I could take pictures of my equations.
Is there a way to insert pictures into the answers? that might be an easy work around until an eq. editor is available.

Yes! I've been working on exponent rules and square roots. An equation editor toolbar would be amazing! Thank you! :o)

I am not using plickers only because it is too difficult not to be able to type the problems.

Please! It is necessary for chemistry and math!!!

Uploading an image fits the purpose but is not optimal I think (bandwith, server memory). I recently came upon Pandoc, which provides extensions (sub and superscript...) to the simple Markdown syntax. Having someting like Pandoc running on server side would be very nice when creating a question.

We need to be able to use subscripts for chemical formulas.

Can you please make it easier to copy and paste any pdf files, as for Geometry that covers a lot of figures, it's hard. I hope this will be resolved soon.
Thanks in advance.
