I would love to be able to type mathematical symbols.

Adding to my previous comment, you can add all sorts of Unicode math symbols (like ∫ ≤ ≅ ⊕ ⋃ ℝ ∰ ∇) and Greek letters (π, Σ, ρ) as well. This won't get you all the fancy equations you want, but it will go a long way.

This would be very beneficial.

This is not the most elegant, but many subscript and superscript symbols are available "pre-made" for Unicode or html. These could be used in the editor 'as is' to create things like
a² + b⁸ = ⅕ Eₒ
Mg₃(PO₄)₂
Mg²⁺http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unicode_subscripts_and_superscripts

For "heavy" (or simply beautiful) equations, a LaTeX input would be perfect. Maybe MathJax could help : https://www.mathjax.org/ ?

I agree with all previous comments. My fifth-grade students beg me on a daily basis to use Plickers instead of a worksheet, but formatting issues hamper using this with all mathematical skills, such as exponents, geometry, and data analysis.

It would be great to copy and paste math equations or even whole quizzes.

This would be a bonus and a good feature.

It would be nice to have the ability to add small pictures to go along with the question.

Hopefully they are working on this. In the mean time you can copy and paste special characters using Word>Insert>Symbols, Google Doc>Insert>Special Character or a website like www.characterer.com. There are many basic characters which can be used for math and science. Although this would not be helpful for more complicated things like chemical equations, for even fractions(although there are a few of those).

To type equations like $E=\frac{p}{\lambda}$ (LaTeX) and then, the lib Mathjax works.

Plickers looks like fun but it is useless for me since I teach math and there are no math symbols that I can use.

I would love to be able to use superscripts and subscripts to write chemical equations for chemistry.

The ability to type math equations or include pictures of graphs would be very cool.

Mathematical symbols would be great for making questions on Plickers. Exponents, numbers lines, division symbols, etc...

This would really be helpful as well as some basic formatting features such as underlining and hard returns.

It would be very beneficial to be able to type in math symbols and fractions the correct way. Charts and tables would be great too. Being able to group question sets.

We teach out students about these text features and would like to display them in our questions

Yes! Subscripts & exponents for physics & chemistry are really vital!!

I agree. I need to add symbols and pictures for geometry.
