just scan!
I would really like to just be able to scan my classes' answers without setting up a question and a bunch of answers. I am a music teacher who teaches 22 different sets of elementary kids, 3 different groups of undergrads and 2 different groups of graduate students. Setting up a question is not time consuming, but setting up 27 questions each time I want to do a formative assessment is a ton a work. I think it would be amazing if you made a "plickers lite" that just took a scan of the cards and told you how the answers shook out (e.g. 14 A, 6 B, 3 C, and 7 D) and didn't have class set up, question set up or any of the other fancy stuff. I love all those features, but the vast majority of the time--for formative assessments which are not graded--I just want a quick and dirty "do they get it?" format.

What would be great if there was an audio recording function so that you could record the audio of the question as you asked it and that data was linked to the response data. With a voice to text app the question might even be able to be "typed" for you automatically!

As a stop-gap measure, you can create an empty class (like the demo class) and create a question with blank answers. I used my phone to create it and just typed Answer for the question. To reuse it, go to the history, click on that question, then click scan, then clear responses.

I agree!! I would like to ask a question without having to type it in the library, then add it to a class.
So many times, teachers have to type questions over and over for different websites and/or apps. I like to use those websites that allow me to import questions from a CSV or Excel workbook. Otherwise, I just don't have time. I would like to show a question on my projector (from the CSV or Excel file), scan a master card to record the correct answer, then scan my students' cards for a quick assessment of students' understanding.
