How can we make Plickers better?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  1. clone a question

    Can we please have the ability to clone a question, so that we could input one question and copy it multiple times and edit the answer. eg Factors of Production are Land , Labour, Capital and Enterprise. We could ask students 4 different questions and only change the stem as we would have the four answers in already.

  2. insert picture problem

    I am not able to insert a picture in the question. There is a "add picture" button, i can select the one i want to insert but it nerver appears. What does I need to do?

  3. Accessibility Features

    If a sound could chime when a correct answer was recorded, the app would be more interactive for blind students. Part of what students love is seeing that their answer has been recorded in live view. Adding a simple chime would involve sight impaired participants. If you only had a chime for correct answers, rather than all answers, students could hear the feedback. One chime? We need to review the material. Lots of chimes? We got this one. - Thank you for creating and supporting this wonderful app!

  4. Include images in individual answers print-outs

    When you print out individual answer sheets only the text is included. That makes the sheets pretty unusable if the question relies on the image. Can you fix it please?

    It would be better to have a set of cards with smaller (greyed) letters at the back (facing the student) and with no letters on the face where the QR-code is.

  10. More manageable way of adding questions

    in order to re-add questions into a group already asked which, where say a majority got it wrong the first time, this info needs to be readily visible (to the right, under groups in queue), with at least an indication of the overall score for a question for a given group.
    Moreover,
    If the question has already been answered, say, with 100% score for a particular group, or if it is already in a queue for a given group, there ought to be a pop-up to ask whether I really want to re-add it into a queue.

  12. Allow teachers to create groups of classes

    I teach 1st-4th grade music and have 42 classes I see over a two week period. I would love to be able to group my classes by day so I can assign the same set to all of my 4th grade classes or maybe all of my B day 3rd Grade classes. You can do this in schoology.

    Instead of a multiple choice/true false format, it would be helpful to have a way to have students type in answers. This would be very beneficial for computation problems.

  14. Change of option during the scan

    Students often listen to the options chosen by other classmates and turn the card to change their first option already scanned, my suggestion would be to see if you could consider adding a feature in future updates, which consists of scanning the initial answer and then disable the change in answer however.

  15. Adding additional special effects? ( visual effects, animations, sounds, etc..)

    Hello,
    First off, I want to say how much I have enjoyed using and incorporating plickers into my lessons. My students really enjoy them as well and look forward to them. I was wondering if there was a way to add further excitement and engagement with the platform. Could special effects such as sound or visual effect occur ( perhaps if whole class gets them correct? Perhaps do something like Kahoots does and have a point rating that allows 1st, 2nd, 3rd place for those who get most correct? perhaps like other learning platforms allow students to earn a certificate…
