How can we make Plickers better?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  1. rearrange order in folders

    rearrange the question order.IN THE FOLDERS. I am organized and number all my questions based on lessons, but sometimes i will have 40+ questions in one folder. when i add a question later, it will appear at the top of the list, even though chronologically it belongs at the bottom of the list... maybe have alphabetic order of questions to implement this

  3. Random Name Chooser

    Sometimes you just want to pick a student at random to ask them a question verbally in front of the class. This is the power of Plickers - because I can see the misconceptions, I know when it is worth starting a discussion on that question. And sometimes it's good if the class see that the process of picking that student is random (i.e. cold calling) as it keeps them alert.   4. Copy and Paste Easily

    I would like to be able to copy these questions/answers directly into a word document. Instead, now I need to copy each answer piece by piece.

  5. Save Queue

    Unless i'm mistaken theirs no way to save a queue of questions.

    I need to administer the same test to multiple groups of students but as it is now after every test i would have to queue up each question again one at a time.

    There should be a way to save a test that you have created so that it can be used again.

    Basically you already have a library of questions there should be a library of created tests as well.

  7. Have the option to scan holding the iPad horizontally

    By holding the iPad horizontally, I would be able to scan in more responses in a shorter amount of time given the layout of my room. Having the option to do this would be great!

  8. change live view to start with response panel hidden

    I would like to be able to set the default live view so that the response panel is hidden when I bring up the question in live view so the students can respond without being influenced by how their peers. I would then like to default to graph view and not the class list when I reveal the panel.

  9. Alternating letters for standardized tests

    Many tests don't use just ABCD as answer choices--they alternate with FGHJ (or another combo). Having cards that have both of these printed (usually like A/F, B/G, C/H, D/J) makes it easier when taking grades.

  10. Only Black and White cards

    When printing the cards in my lexmark laser printer the numbers and letters are almost invisible because they are gray. I tried many settings, but no luck. I suggest present these letters numbers in 100% black.

  14. Bluetooth connection for app to site

    Why not to creat a plickers.exe programe so that we get over the problem of the unstable internet connection in some countries and the connection between the app and the computer might be a blutooth connection

  15. Can we have UK Year groups in the class options, please?

    When setting up classes, it would be useful to have UK Year descriptors as an option, since we don't have the Grade system here in the UK.

  19. Highlight the best students for each set of questions.

    My students are quite competitive and they were disappointed that we couldn't see who the winner was (students with the most correct answers for a secific set of questions).
