How can we make Plickers better?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  1. Make it possible to clear multiple responses at once

    It would be extremely used to clear responses for a subset of questions at a time (e.g., for an entire queue)

  5. Scrambling questions/answers

    Having a scramble feature so that the order of the questions/answers are mixed between periods. If the questions/answers are in the same order period after period, my students pass on the answers to the next class.

  7. Self Assessment in PE.

    Allowing students to self assess themselves in PE where they can give themselves a mark of 0,1,2,3 that corresponds to A,B,C,D. The end of the term it would create a percentage grade would be nice. Right now it is either a correct of incorrect answer.

  8. Change the color on reports scoring. I am colorblind and cannot see the pastel colors in reports.

    Change the colors in plickers to a color scheme that is easier for the color blind to see. The pastel colors that are in current use are near impossible for me to be able to see. Yellow on white might as well be invisible.

    As a classroom used tool think through visual schemes or make it so we can change them ourselves.

    It is embarrassing to ask a friend/colleague for help because you cannot see the information on the screen.

  9. The ability to print the scoresheet with color-coded scores. When exported to CSV, the color-coding disappears.

    I am happy to share my existing folders of questions freely when that feature becomes available but please let me reuse my content in other services, and make it easy to get the data out.

  11. 63 Large set of laminated plicker cards. can only find the 40 set on amazon

    I teach double P.E. classes, so I have 50 some students in a class at a time. Plickers is an easy way to assess students but i need durable plicker cards that will last a while and are big enough for our gym, but they only have the standard set on amazon

  12. Make it so date asked is a field in the exported spreadsheet

    When you export a multiple date scoresheet to excel it would be great if it had a field for date asked. It would also be great to see in the scoresheet view what date questions were asked for review purposes

  13. fine tune reports

    please put a feature to fine tune reports (if you miss a quiz it is zero) (more choices higher score) . Otherwise if a student shows up rarely but answers correctly he/she gets higher score. Also some questions carry more value(ABC vs ABCD)

  14. I know that sharing questions is a huge deal to everyone. Could you make it so that there is a school login for the account? Then teacher LI

    I know that providing a bank for everyone using the app's questions is going to take some time. I know it's a bandaid, but putting it so that there's a school account and then teacher account and only store the information for just that school in the same bank would help a lot and also really promote the app. It wouldn't really matter if all teachers could access all the information for all students in that school because most can in other more formal assessment means as well.

  15. I want to see the total count of questions listed in a given library folder.

    I can see how many pages of questions, but it would be helpful to see how many Qs are in a folder as well.

  17. Click multiple classes for a question to be queued.

    I need to add the same question to several classes. There should be an option to click a box next to each class the question is needed for.

  18. Scan individual students tests and have the score by scanning the sheet

    That would be great to have also the option of individual quiz. With, QR codes and multiples choices questions, we could make small tests and have the score by scanning the sheet.

  19. Plickers Attendance

    Every student will be provided with plickers cards with unique patterns on it. At the end of every class or lecture , the faculty in the class scans all the cards for attendance. In case of the cards of respective student misses, it will be marked as absent. If the card is scanned it is marked as present. In this case the proxy of attendance can be reduced and faculty's time will be saved

  20. Integrate Plickers with Apple TV

    I use an ipad, apple tv, and projector. It would be great if live view would work with apple tv.
