Alternating letters for standardized tests
Many tests don't use just ABCD as answer choices--they alternate with FGHJ (or another combo). Having cards that have both of these printed (usually like A/F, B/G, C/H, D/J) makes it easier when taking grades.

5 sides for advanced placement courses
Advanced Placement courses have 5 choice multiple choice questions. I am convinced that if every AP teacher out there would contribute 1.00 (i.e., the cost of a phone app), we coyld have enough funding (and then some) to make a 5-sided card a reality...

4 per sheet
Can you print to the size of a 1/4 sheet (4 per sheet)? A teacher in our workshop this morning suggested that we tape Plicker shapes onto the back of students' graphing calculators. Right now the ones that are 2 per card are a little too large. What an awesome idea! Thanks!

Thanks for writing in about this idea. Many teachers already do this by changing their printer settings to print 2 pages per sheet. This will automatically layout the cards so that there are 4 per sheet (if you’re using the standard set).
Best,

Special Needs
It would be awesome to have the letters color coded or use picture symbols instead of letters. This way students who don't read could match colors or pictures instead.

Make it possible to add choices to the multiple choice list.
Currently 4 choices make it possible to add a few extra if needed. As a math teacher I like to have five options usually adding the option for all of the above or none of the above.

Allow 5 answer choices instead of just 4
It would involve redesigning the cards, but I'd love to have 5 answer choices available. Many standardized tests (like the SAT) have 5 answer choices, and it would be nice to use Plickers to invigorate our SAT prep.
I've had a great experience so far using Plickers in my classroom. Thanks for making the app available!

How about an option to make the cards personal to the student.
If I could include their name on the card, I wouldn't spend time remembering who is which number. Also, if I allowed them to keep cards with them, it would be easier when other teachers find the cards left in their room or hallway.

Plickers card design editor
How about some sort of online editor that allows us to choose a picture to go with each orientation of the QR code, I could use it with the younger pupils as an assessment tool if I could attach smiley faces to each side, for example A=FULL SMILE, B=STRAIGHT FACE C=PUZZLED FACE D=SAD FACE, that way I could see at a glance how my pupils have felt the lesson has gone for them.

More than 63 unique cards
I'd like to use Plickers with more than 63 students/respondents at once.
Example uses:
- Model the use of Plickers at large PD sessions (approx. 200 respondents)
- Large university classrooms (100+ respondents)Let us know in a comment how many you'd need!

Two sided cards for one student.
Allowing ABCDEFG(H). This would allow testing of simple music notation.

Restore large Plicker cards
There used to be a large (1 up) version of the Plicker cards that was available for 63 students. The file appears to have disappeared, and the Amazon version certainly doesn't have 63 codes. Given that I almost always teach more than 40 students in a lecture theatre setting this is a major constraint.
Could this file be made available again, please?

Add colour to expand number of cards
I think number if possible cards could be expanded using colour. Yes it would require a colour printer, but I would also need around 100 possible votes. Perhaps you can set it up so you can choose between plickers Classic (your current system) and plickers expanded (with a few coulors as a factor)

Smaller cards with large print
It would be a lot easier for kindergarten students to have smaller cards to handle but with larger print to more easily recognize the letters and numbers.

names!
What about Cards with the names instead of numbers?
Either generated with a list of names or an editable version.25 votes -
Mini cards! 6 per page...
I teach PE and would love to have smaller cards since I need to use so many cards. A mini set of cards would allow me to use them all on a smaller space (instead of kids holding them up!)

New
Have custom Card numbers. Where teachers can input their number they need then just print them.

large font with 4 plickers per page
This will save on paper but is still more than sufficient for size and reading for the scan

When you attempt to input "First Name" to label a student in a class, only able to type 1 word. Need to be able to type more than 1 word.
When you attempt to input "First Name" to label a student in a class, you are only able to type 1 word. Sometimes students' first names are multiple words like "Bobbi Jo". Current field doesn't allows for that. Need to be able to type more than 1 word for the first name.
