How can we make Plickers better?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  3. Allow multiple lines in the answers

    I am a CS teacher, and a lot of my answers involve multiple lines as the output of a program. Please give us the option to enter multiple lines in the answer. Thank you so much!

  4. Is there a way to have choices of 1,2, 3, 4 as well as A, B, C, D in the questions?

    When I am doing a question for letter/sound, my answer shows up as
    A. c
    B. l
    C. d
    D. r
    This is confusing to our kindergarten kids

  6. Generate links to questions.

    If there is a way for us to generate links to particular questions or class groups then we can add these links to other educational apps and provide seamless connectivity between both the apps.

  7. Copy a question within the library.

    Copying an existing question would allow me to make minor changes without retyping the whole text or inserting the same image.

  8. Have a student login so that students could go and review the questions.

  9. Preview Questions Page for students to view MULTIPLE before answering

    Have a page dedicated to view multiple questions in que. Or a page where MULTIPLE questions in a certain folder can be viewed. The point of this idea is to view multiple questions on a page to give students time to review and think, then come back and answer on the live view page.

  10. Possibility adding colours to the question

    Is it possible to add colours to the questions? Because it's easy to add colours to the answering cards, but the colours on the cards are of no use if the questions don't have the same colours.

  11. Add support for source code snippets

    Allow users to use a <pre> tag or whatever to post short code segments for computer science or similar classes.

  13. "Comprehension Check" option

    This would simply allows students to vote, but no prep of questions is required--simply polling the results in real-time to check their understanding.

  14. Pop up menus instead of drop down

    It would be great to have the list of class names pop up instead of drop down when adding questions to a queue. I have 8+ classes and when I click to add a question to the queue, I have to scroll down to see the bottom of the list. This is a lot of scrolling when I'm adding many questions to queue.

  15. Vote for an oral presentation

    Hello,
    I would like to suggest you another functionality. I'm teacher, and I would like to use Plickers to vote.For exemple, I have a student who make a presentation, and every others students could vote for him.
    The A face could correspond to Insufficient, B for satisfactory , C for well and D for very Good.I would like to attribute points to each face, for example :A - Insufficient : 0
    B- Satisfactoty : 1C- Well : 2D- Very good : 3

  20. Once questions can be shared, produce a QR code that would refer to the question (to embed a quick quiz, for example)

    If teachers share lessons on smartboards, a question about the material just covered could be referenced with a pointer (like a QR code) that would open those questions in this teacher's plickers app.
