Hi there -- the scanning only "reads" the QR code of the Plickers cards. Are you asking for face-recognition type software to identify the student? Aside from the technological challenge this poses, it may be difficult to implement due to FERPA.

Hi friends - we've just added the ability to add images, so we've edited this idea to focus on video! Keep up the votes!

    Hi friends,

It actually seems like auto-correct and spell-check are usually defaults for your device or browser. Just FYI!

Thanks @Joshua -- you're right about this! You can change your printer settings to enable different numbers of cards to print. You can also check out our Cards tab for more cards options.

@mkaercher, your students should only need 1 card to use Plickers (they can rotate 1 card 4 ways to indicate A, B, C, or D).

Let us know if there's something else we can address with this idea!

We'd love to know a bit more about this idea. Are you asking for a way to keep results anonymous? Currently, the Live View default enables this. Let us know if we're missing something here!

    Hi Friends,

It sounds like there are a couple of ideas rolling around in this "Idea" :
    - the ability to import questions from 3rd-party sources and test banks
    - the ability to import questions from your own resources like spreadsheets, etc.

To better differentiate these 2 different features (one requiring partnerships, and one just requiring a bit of engineering on our part), I'm designating this as a "3rd-party sources" import, and making the existing "Allow questions import from spreadsheet" the teacher resource idea --- you can go vote for it here: http://plickers.uservoice.com/forums/194176-ideas/suggestions/6643366-allow-question-upload-from-spreadsheets.

It'd be great if we could make this comment thread about all of the 3rd-party resources you'd specifically like to see on Plickers!

    Thanks!

    Jenn

    Hello Plickers friends!

You voted on an idea to "allow upload from spreadsheets" -- and part of the request was specific to class rosters.

In case you didn't know, I did want to let you know that we do now have the ability to copy-paste student rosters in (and these can be copy-pasted from a spreadsheet, separated by commas, tabs, spaces, etc.)

Since we've gone ahead and added that feature, I'm changing this title to "Upload questions from spreadsheets" so that it's more specific and allows other teachers to vote more specifically for this topic. Thank you!

    Best,

    Jenn

Did you want something completely differently than the Live View (formerly "Teach Mode")?
