  1. Subdivide a class into two "teams," or by gender. Pose the same question to the two "teams" at the same time.

Hi! I just discovered Plickers and even though the school year is over, you can bet I'll be incorporating it into my class next year!

Anyway, I often like to pit one side of the class against the other. They love this kind of competition and it drives them to succeed. I would love to see a feature where I subdivide a class into two "teams," and, activating a "competition mode" I can pose the same question to the two "teams" at the same time and have the results display side by side. In my class I would award a…

  3. Scanning does not work with sony xperia phone

App does not work with sony xperia Z3 compact phone, model D5833, Android 6.0.1

When trying to scan the class all I get is a black screen. It's as if the app is unable to access the camera.

I'm really looking foward to trying plickers in my classes, but need it to work with my phone first.

  5. Hide Student Names on the Live View Default +“Reveal Answer” Screen.

This way individual students can see if they got the question correct or incorrect but their classmates will not easily be able to see who missed the question (unless they have all of their classmates' numbers memorized).

  6. Plickers could have pre-created questions in a data base to choose from.

Plickers could have pre-created questions in a data base. They could be categorized like Movies, Actors, TV Shows, Sports, books and general interest. Then we could use your questions to insert them in our queues. For instance...I could have 3 vocabulary questions and then one about movies (to make more motivating). Then 3 more of my questions and then another about sports. And you could have simple questions like: Which of this movies is not about Sci-fi : a) Star Wars b) Contact c) E.T d) Deep blue. We teachers could save A LOT of time if I have the…

  7. Bathroom log

I would like to be able to use Plickers to log student's trips to the bathroom during the day. Time in/out.

  9. It would be nice if we could change the default live view from "students" to "graph" so that the names would not be visible to the class.

It would be handy if we had more control over the set up for the live view. Instead of always defaulting to show students names, or the card numbers, going straight to the graph first would be a nice option.

  10. Report that is chronological

I would like to be able to see a report in which the questions and their answers appear in the order I asked/ scanned. I would also like to be able to format the page so that the bar graphs are not cut off.

  11. To be able to tag a question with a specific standard that would then be entered into a bank so teachers could search specific standards.

If we were able to create questions and tag them with the specific standard then we could share them on the site. Teachers would then be able to search for a standard and the bank of questions would be available to them. This would save everyone so much time and would stop us from reinventing the wheel.

  13. Drag and drop questions

I'd like to be able to drag the questions I want into the class rather than having to click the button and select class. I would also like to be able to change the order of questions by sdragging rather than using the up and down icons.

  16. Grouping system with different answers, no more 1 pupil yelling 'A!' and the rest also voting A.

Create a few groups, for example the bunnies, the reindeers, the chickens etc. linked to a set of Plicker cards. The replies for the different groups would be ranked differently so that, for example, the correct reply for the chickens is A, whereas for the bunnies it is C.

The reason? Simple, sometimes pupils still mumble/yell A or B, the rest follows suit. This would make it a tad harder.

  17. Selecting multiple questions at once and dragging to the queue!

Is there a way of selecting multiple questions at once and dragging them to the queue?
If there isn't is that something that can be incorporated into the website?

  18. Assign the same Question to Multiple Classes

Is there any way to assign all my classes to a question all at the same time? I have 20 music classes and some questions I ask everybody, and some only certain grade levels.

  20. Once a question is used, it should automatically fall out of the queue, instead of having to be removed manually.

Teachers are telling me that it's such a hassle to manually remove each question from the queue. How about if they fall out of the queue and are still in the library after they are used?
